Setting new standards for sustainable construction in Aotearoa

We're not just building stronger foundations; we're building a more sustainable future for New Zealand. Discover how our innovative soil stabilisation methods are a game-changer for the environment.

Revolutionising soil stabilisation: Ethical Ground Improvement

Our method is a true game-changer for the environment. Unlike traditional approaches, our technique based on upcycling the ground drastically reduces the environmental footprint of construction projects. By utilising local New Zealand materials and non-synthetic components, we cut down on production emissions and ease the pressure on quarries and dump sites. This innovative approach also leads to a substantial reduction in working hours for carbon-emitting machinery, significantly limiting overall human impact. We also eliminate the need for extensive dust protection on-site and protect against overland water flow erosion, ensuring a cleaner, safer work environment and a healthier planet. Our product's resistance to freeze/thaw cycles also means less future maintenance for roadways, contributing to long-term environmental benefits.

Less trucking

One of the most significant eco-friendly upsides of our method is the substantial reduction in trucking. By using readily available New Zealand materials and stabilising existing soil on-site, we dramatically lower the need for material import and export. This means fewer trucks on our roads, directly translating to lower trucking and carbon emissions. The benefits extend beyond just emissions: less traffic congestion around work sites, increased public safety, and a quieter, more pleasant environment for local communities. It's a win-win for both efficiency and ecology.

Less pressure on landfill and quarry resources

As a consequence of reduced trucking, the pressure on dump sites and landfills is substantially diminished. This shift aligns with the goals of current government initiatives, local authorities, and community efforts to preserve our land. By minimising the need for extensive trucking, we not only cut down on greenhouse gas emissions but also contribute to a cleaner, more sustainable environment. This collective effort supports the vision of healthier communities and a greener planet, ensuring that we leave a better legacy for future generations.

Less dust

Our stabilisation process is designed to be cleaner from start to finish. Thanks to the advanced technology in our plant, materials are blended and applied in a controlled, dustless way, helping reduce airborne particles around the worksite. This supports safer working conditions, less disruption for nearby communities, and easier compliance with local regulations and environmental management plans.

Less reliance on synthetic materials

By reducing or eliminating the need for geosynthetics in earthworks, we help limit the introduction of imported synthetic (plastic) polymer materials into the ground. International research has identified geotextiles as a  source of microplastics as they weather, age and are exposed to environmental stress. By stabilising existing soils on-site, our method supports durable ground improvement while helping preserve the integrity of New Zealand’s natural landscapes without the importation of microplastic sources.

Less footprint. More New Zealand
